The Mt Vernon Condominium building in the heart of downtown St Petersburg, FL was originally constructed as a hotel in 1919 with the front lobby and portico added in 1933. It was ultimately renovated to the current charming condominiums in 2004. We are only a brief walk away from boutiques and restaurants on Beach Drive, several critically acclaimed museums, and a multi-million dollar pedestrian pier with a marina and waterfront restaurants. The nearby Vinoy Hotel and Park and Straub Park are waterfront event venues year-round. Access to I-275 is just minutes away by car, as are the multitude of shops and restaurants on Central Avenue and the 4th Street N corridor.
There are only 20 units in the building, each with two bedrooms and an assigned parking spot in the secure, gated lot or small alley access area. Building amenities include a generous, welcoming lobby with a billiard table and group seating areas; a gated, private pool and patio that includes separate bike storage; a well-equipped fitness room; and secure storage units in the basement.
